5 days on a dry lake bed. 3 cases of beer. 6 new bearings. 1 new Harken block. Probably the last time you'll see me out here in a Harley-Davidson helmet. It's time to get something a little more streamlined. All shot with the Hero HD at 30fps / 1080. It gets bounced pretty hard on the Blokart and still returns a good picture. The audio is terrible. It doesn't help that my kart deserves to be soaked in a vat of wd-40.
Blokart racing at Ivanpah dry lake near Primm Nevada on the Nevada/California border. These little landsailers will do 50 mph plus which makes for some exciting landsailing. With the camera on the helmut, you get to see what the Kart pilot is doing as well as the other sailers as he turns his head.
In this race, I am trying to beat Sean for the first time but I have a flat tire at the end of the race. You can see tru goo tire sealant spray on the upper left hand corner of the lens toward the end of the race. Oh well, it was a great race anyway. Blokarts are little landsailers capable of speeds 50 mph plus. This race was on March 28, 2010 on Ivanpah dry lake near Primm Nevada on the Nevada/California border.
