1. This public talk was given by James Low the evening before a retreat he led in Estonia.
Held in the National Library of Estonia, Tallinn, 2 Oct. 2015

In this lecture, the focus is on the relation between mindfulness practices and Buddhist meditation based on the view of mind of the Dzogchen tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. In the lecture it is pointed out that normally people are fixed in their habitual patterns which do not let them perceive everything that appears, just as it is. However, when we are relaxed, we find ourselves as part of the unfolding field itself and we are able to feel the basic goodwill that is present in all people. It creates a mood within which there is a free flow of interactive energy, where is no "me" and "other". We are not the subjects looking at the objects.

The translation into Estonian has been edited out. You can, however, listen to this talk with Kadri Raudsepp translating into Estonian at audio.simplybeing.co.uk/category/publictalks/estonia-public/
