This week, we’re learning the part we can play in encouraging our church leaders. The Word says we should “appreciate those who diligently labor among” us (see 1 Thessalonians 5:12). Carter shares practical ways to apply this to our lives and how it fits into the concept of prioritizing the needs of our church family.
During this message, we are challenged to commit to sacrificing our rights for our church family. We can do this through intentionally spending time with other Christians as well as sacrificially using our gifts to strengthen others in the faith.
This week we’re talking about gossip. Gossip can be used as a tool for tearing people down instead of building them up. It can also cause us to misinterpret the hearts of others because we aren't hearing the full story, only parts of it. Thus, Pastor Carter shares with us the importance of being unifiers–not dividers–of those around us, especially our church family.
This week we’re exploring Revelation 2, in which Jesus admonished the church in Ephesus to return to their first Love. In a similar way, Pastor Carter encourages us to reflect on our lives to ensure that we’re keeping Jesus as the Main Thing in all that we do. He also shares some strategies to bring back the love.
