This is a powerful story of what one person can do in spite of all challenges (financial, organizational, personal) she faced in 2007 as she cared for her father and noticed many other families with the same challenges. Jo Ann McNerthy is one of those unique and special "common people doing uncommon things for the common good. " She helped develop a coop in which the nurses who care for the clients set the quality standards and run the program.
