1. Feltrinelli is an eclectic, multifaceted, plural, versatile way of thinking.

    As one of the biggest editorial house in Italy, the group wanted to offer to its audience a way to make use of television contents through a different perspective. A perspective that leaves space to critical thinking and wants to encourage personal opinion by treating current issues.

    Our work had to reflect the spirit of the company, which traditionally has a publishing background, in a new way. We took inspiration from the print graphic treatments to create an appropriate brand.

    That's why we chose to use serif and sans-serif typefaces such as Trade Gothic Bold Condensed and Utopia Regular, in a very large body, together with a color treatment on footage in a way that could represent the origins of the group but at the same time away from the vintage feeling.

  4. Project: Al Aan Channel Rebrand
    Client: Turquoise Branding
    Music: Box of Toys Audio

    BACKGROUND /
    Al Aan is an Arabic-speaking infotainment channel based in Dubai. Turquoise Branding invited us to create the sonic identity of the channel based on three social based themes; Changing Opinion, Growing Conversation and Social Network.

    APPROACH /
    We created a calming and fluent music composition that runs alongside weareseventeen's visualisation of social influence and input with a combination of percussive and staccato style instruments. These instruments represent the many elements involved in the overall concept.

    A recognisable sonic ident rounds of each piece in order to assist in establishing the new brand identity.

  5. Over the past year, we’ve partnered with the amazing folks at NGC on several different projects. This montage is a cross-section of some of the on-air branding that we’ve collaborated on, including menus, night openers, a lower third system, event packaging and other navigational graphics. The primary thread between all of these elements is the the radially evolving logo border, which we developed as a kinetic brand component. We won’t get into all of our reasoning for it here, let’s just say it’s pretty conceptual. ;)
