On Saturday 23rd June I captured the #wedding of Hoss and Kim at the Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel. It was perfect weather conditions and the sun was shinning brightly. My day started with Kim and her bridesmaid's, Stacey Jade Hair was busy sorting out mum's hair. A make-up artist was sorting out the bridesmaids and Kim was sorting out fine bits ready for the wedding. I managed to capture the dress and details along with the bouquet of flowers. Kim then started having her hair styled and I managed to get a few shots before going to await the arrival of Hoss. On my way I stopped by the wedding ceremony room and it looked lovely. Enchanted Wedding, Events & Parties Bristol had provided chair covers, wedding fairies did the flowers and the was also love letters and decor by Milla events. Outside and guests started to arrive, Hoss arrived with his sons and everybody was in good spirits. I saw Kim getting her dress done up and the moment that her dad saw her for the first time. Guests started to take their seats and await the bridal party. As Kim walked up the aisle with both her sons and the bridesmaids, it was a special moment and Hos really enjoyed it.
After the wedding guests formed two lines and there was a big confetti shot. Afterwards everybody grabbed a drink and started to chill in the gardens. leehatherallphotography arranged the group and personal shots in shaded areas. I went into the wedding breakfast room to see the details, the naked cake with flowers was my highlight of a very pretty room. Soon after there was a receiving and once everybody had seated Martin the Toastmaster announced the happy couple into the room. After the wedding breakfast we had the speeches, lots of energy, memorable story's and that only covered half the stag due lol. It was clear that Hoss and Kim are very suited to each other and have a great amount of support from family and friends.
My evening started with getting some more personal shots with Lee the photographer, now the sun had gone down the lighting was much better. With the help of a bridesmaid I managed to get all the personal messages that I had on my list. The weather was great and as evening guests arrived everybody stayed outside to continue celebrations. Once the party room was ready I captured room details. There was a sweet stand, a photo booth and selfie props on each table for guests to enjoy. When guests started entering the room the Toastmaster announced the cutting of the cake and first dance. Then Darren Sims started singing and performing to some guests on the dance floor. It was a hot and wonderful day, Congratulations to Hoss and Kim Seabourne x# vimeo.com/279964595 Uploaded 379 Plays 0 Likes 0 Comments
On Saturday 9th June I captured the #wedding of Stuart and Marion at Holy Trinity Church, Westbury-on-Trym and Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel. The Sun was out and it was a beautiful day for a very special wedding. During the meetings with Marion and Stuart I was told that they're wedding day was going to be unique and like no other that I had captured before. As I arrived at St Monica's with RichMcD Photography, Marion and Stuart were both ready and our first task was to capture some romantic shots of the happy couple in the amazing gardens and next to the pond. The ushers and flower girl were also about for a picture and the classic wedding cars arrived. I captured a shot with the cars and then made my way to the church. Outside the church and there was a lot of space and the sun was in full view, guests started to arrive and we're greeted by Stuarts ushers. The first wedding car arrived with the best man and Marion's ushers. By the time it had reached 3:45 ushers started asking guest to take seats in the church for the start of the wedding and at 3:50 Stuart and Marion arrived together in the other open top classic car. After a picture together they went to the side door for the entrance. Bruce the Cannon announced the entrance of the bride and groom to a special composition of that Stuart had written. It was a very lovely moment and one that I won't forget. During the wedding there was a reading, address a few hymes and a during the signing the choir performed a special song. Thankfully I was able to capture the signing from distance while capturing the audio of the choir. I then moved to the back of the church to capture the exit and the music the organists played was also very special to Stuart and Marion.
After the wedding Rich set up a few group shots and guests congratulated the happy couple. We then all made our way to the Grange hotel. Just before getting up to the hotel we set the wedding cars up at the bottom of the garden and got some magnificent shots with the hotel in the background. We then went up to the hotel and had a confetti shot outside and a big group shot. I managed to capture room details and afterwards took Stuart and Marion to the secret gardens for a few more romantic pictures. Marion was a retired wedding photographer and Rich gave up his camera and let Marion capture Stuart. This was a very special moment and I'm so glad I was able to capture it. Once guests had taken their seats in the wedding breakfast room the bride and groom were announced in the a standing applause. The speeches were first and the best man started of and after his speech he had a message from Marion's bother and son who were not able to attend the wedding. Stuart ended the speeches with a few words just before the wedding breakfast was served. After deserts I had a list of guests that I need to get personal messages from and all the messages were lovely, Stuart and Marion will really appreciate the wonderful words from guests and a special thanks to Dianne for helping find the guests. After tea and coffee there was a little entertainment as Stuart is part of a jazz band. He first performed 'Playing Love' the music he composed for the walking up the aisle. Afterwards the jazz band performed a song, a poet and a solo saxophonist performed bringing to a close a fabulous day. Congratulations Stuart and Marion x# vimeo.com/278662338 Uploaded 57 Plays 1 Like 0 Comments
On Friday 17th November I captured the #wedding of Danny and Rosie at the Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel. I was excited for the day as it was going to be my film #Christmas themed wedding of the season. The weather perfect with blue skies and bright winter sun. My day started with Rosie and her bridesmaid's and everybody was busy getting hair and make-up completed. mum then gave a present from Danny to Rosie and she was very happy with the charm and message inside. There was red and green bouquet flowers and green dresses for the bridesmaids. Each dress had a personalised hanger and they all looked amazing hanging together on her rail. I then went to the front of the hotel as Danny was expecting to arrive with his best man in special transportation. When he arrived in a silver Mercedes-Benz he looked relaxed and excited for the day ahead. He was dressed in a kilt and looked very smart. Guests started to arrive and the was also a City of Bristol Pipes and Drums Pipe Major Julian Smart playing in the back ground. I took my chance to capture a brilliant ceremony room with red chair sashes with a diamond on each row. I then went back to Rosie to see her dress being done up the moment her dad saw Rosie for the first time. It was a very emotional moment and thankfully tissues were on hand. Danny was now at the top of the isle awaiting the bridal party, a flower girl dropped petals and that lead to the arrival of the bride’s maids and Rosie with her dad.
After the wedding guests got a drink and headed outside so John Holbrook Photography could capture the group and personal shots. Pipe Major Julian Smart continued to play and David Stallworthy was on hand to make sure that everything was running to plan and that all the guests were having a good time. I went into the wedding breakfast room and captured some detail shots, I was totally blown away, the room looked amazing. Red and green with a Christmas tree in the corner. I love Iced Magic Cakes had made a delightful cake with 100 cup cakes to go with it. Once all the guests had taken their seats, Pipe Major Julian Smart piped in the top table. The guests started to enjoy a three-course meal with Xmas tunes in the back ground. I then captured the speeches before David the Toastmaster closed proceedings by leading Rosie and Danny out of the room.
My evening started by capturing guest messages and when the evening room was ready I captured all the details. Guests started to come in and enjoy a sweet table, Brizzle Booth provided a photo booth, there was also a chocolate fountain. We then had the cutting of the cake before the father of the bride and bride dance shortly followed by the first dance. Cadence Entertainment Limited had provided a DJ, led dance floor and confetti canons. During the first dance there was a confetti explosion and my evening ended to guests dancing away to Queen's - don't stop me now.
