Originally from Toronto, Canada, Sarah Cornell began her career in musical theater. She starred as "Ulla" in The Producers on Broadway and in Toronto (Dora Award nominated). Most recently, she won the LA Ovation Award for Best Lead Female Performance for her reprisal of the role. Sarah was Dora nominated again for her dual role as "Annie/Shelly" in Evil Dead the Musical! a role for which she was reviewed as "Funniest performance of the night, maybe of the whole year!" -Richard Ouzuonian The Toronto StarSarah began her career in sketch comedy and improv working with The Second City National Touring Company (Toronto/Chicago) and then went on to write and perform her own work. Some credits include NY Underground Comedy Festival: Best Sketch of the Fest, Toronto Sketch Festival, LA Comedy Festival. For TV, Sarah wrote and performed on Comedy Inc. (airs June 12th on CTV/The Comedy Network), improvised on "Howie-Do-It" The Howie Mandel Show, played series regular "Irina" in At The Hotel...(CBC), and many other roles on Canadian Film and Television. Her first short film, PLANET SUN, in which she wrote, produced and starred was an official selection of The Bel Air Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival, Mammoth Film Festival, Maryland Film Festival, and The Comedy Shorts Film Festival. Currently, Sarah is recording season 2 of the animated series "Producing Parker" on which she plays "Chicago Hyatt" the office intern (Global).
