  4. The following is a video recording of a Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association, Bay Area Chapter event: 'Entrepreneur Series: A Tale of Two Startups'

While still a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon, Manu Kumar was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. What resulted was a journey spanning 6 years, 5 different companies, 4 M&A deals, 3 financing rounds, 2 licensing deals, and 1 serial entrepreneur.

Starting his first company while still in school, Manu grew his first company till it was acquired in 2000 for over $100 Million. His second company was acquired in 2005. He is now the founder and Chief Firestarter at a new seed-stage venture capital fund: K9 Ventures.

This interactive talk also provides some core lessons of entrepreneurship in "Twenty Tweets," with anecdotes to support the learning behind the tweet-sized advice for founders of tech startups.
