This TVC was shot on the Red Epic camera. To make shooting the commercial easy and very time efficient we mounted the camera vertically rather than the normal horizontal. By mounting the camera this way, while shooting at 5K resolution 6:1 redcode in 5K-HD (16:9 aspect ratio) we just had to frame the talent head to toe then we could make the rest of the shots in post as we had plenty of resolution.
This was shot on a Sony F800 XDcam camera, I was DP. We had a great crew that day, Peter Richardson was Gaffa and the spot was directed by Mike Hayes.

I shot this as a time lapse piece on a Red One camera. We started just after sun rise and as you can see just made it as the sun set. In this version the graphic we spelt out on the steps of Sydney Opera House in white sticky paper were tidied up slightly in post.
