What happens when a piano submits itself to the control of the elements, road conditions and the rest of its surroundings? This sound installation by Gordon Monahan is inspired by Arne Nordheim’s classical piece Listen. The installation resonated – unobtrusively and at no charge to the public – every day during the Ultima Contemporary Music Festival 2012. Curator: Carsten Seiffarth. In cooperation with Ultima.
