The Head of Francis Parker, Kevin Yaley, had some great, important news to share with the Parker community about some upcoming renovations that they are going to be breaking ground on soon. What better way to deliver the great news, than with a video to upload and share in their newsletters, on their website, and with social media. So we filmed Kevin delivering his message on campus at a few locations and pieced it together with some b roll of the students and campus, for a short and sweet message. He's a natural!
This was quite the fun challenge. We teamed up with Francis Parker with the goal of delivering the latest campus renovation news to their community, by way of a "whiteboard" and stop-motion type of video. We thought it would be a fun and different way to reach their community. So, lucky for them, they have a very talented Middle School teacher who lent his talents to the project. We spent the day filming DJ drawing all of the short segments, and then we edited it all together with some time to even add some fun effects to some of the shots.
Technically speaking, these are all photos that we took. So, it's a photo time lapse and edited together with a few spots that we added some stop motion flair to.
In addition, the voice over was recorded by one of their current middle school students, so that was fun to incorporate to the project as well.
