1. Permanent is a short film that tells the story of Danielle Perry and her struggle to let go of her tumultuous past with her husband Jason Perry (a former football player suffering from manic depression) so that she can move forward with her current boyfriend Adrien Smith (a newly employed architectural engineer with a bright future and high hopes for their relationship). Although Jason and Danielle are separated and Danielle has moved on with Adrien, she is struggling to let go of the past. In spite of constant insistence from Adrien, Danielle has not pressed Jason to sign the divorce papers citing that she just wants to give him more time to deal with his depression over a football injury that caused him not to go pro. Due to the altercation that caused Danielle to initially leave Jason, Adrien isn't so sympathetic to Jason's mental state. He warns Danielle to stay away from Jason because he is dangerous, a warning which unfortunately, Danielle does not take to heart.

Permanent marks the directorial debut of Las Vegas filmmaker, Tasha Davis. It is a film that takes viewers on an emotional roller coaster as we go from being happy for Danielle and Adrien and seeing the potential for a very happy future for them, to then being very afraid for Danielle and even feeling some concern for Jason, who is clearly in a very bad place. I think that's what makes this film special. I think we really draw the viewers into the emotional space of our characters and we take them on a journey that may not exactly end the way they would want it to, but life never plays out exactly how we think it will anyway and unfortunately for Danielle, that is a lesson that she learns too late.

The role of Adrien Smith is played by Chuck Prater. The role of Danielle Perry is played by Lindsey Cruz and Jeremiah B. McQueen is the incomparable Jason Perry. We sincerely hope that you enjoy this film. Please remember to press the HD button for the best quality.
