Sean & Kara narrate their experience about infertility treatment at the Reproductive Health Center, Tucson, Arizona. Before that they had undergone treatment in Alabama and had been very disappointed with the whole process there. They feel that trying to have a baby can be emotionally stressful and hence the behavior, care and help of support staff are very crucial in the whole process.
The couple is very happy and pleased with the interaction with Dr. Hutchinson and his team and says that they went out of their way to make things comfortable for the family. They were soon on a first name basis and this helped them greatly to be at ease. Coming from a family of doctors, Sean says he understands how important this aspect can be to make a patient feel at home and relaxed. It is like being a part of an extended family with a caring and empathetic approach to treatment.
It is for these very reasons that Sean & Kara strongly recommend this clinic to all those wishing to go through infertility treatments.

The Palmour Family are effusive with praise for Dr. Scott Hutchinson and Holly Hutchinson after their successful fertility treatment.
Mr & Mrs Palmour had been trying unsuccessfully to have a baby for more than two years. When they met their OB and had some tests done, it was found that Mrs. Palmour had blocked fallopian tubes. She contacted Dr. Hutchinson who agreed to treat her. Mrs. Palmour says that the good doctor had complete faith in her ability to conceive even if it was taking longer than expected. After about six visits, she was pregnant which she claims was nothing short of a miracle and she experienced the joy of parenthood when her first son Rob was born.
Buoyed by the success, the Palmour family decided to have another child. They returned to Dr. Hutchinson, underwent infertility treatment again, and after a month of trying she conceived again – her second son.
The Family thanks the doctors and the support staff for the care and understanding they showed throughout the treatment period. They also strongly recommend Dr. Hutchinson to all childless couples in the Tucson area wishing to start a family.

Pamela is a medical assistant at the Reproductive Health Center, Tucson. In this video, she describes her work profile, her emotional attachment with the clinic and why her work is very mentally satisfying for her.
She basically works in the laboratory but helps out in patient care too. Outside the lab she assists in activities related to ultrasounds and inseminations but the bulk of the work is in the lab. She runs the Estradiols for patients in cycle and carries out semen prepsc for insemination and semen analysis. This is done through SQA-V machine or through microscope eye examination of the samples. There is also an Immulite machine for the Estradiols for IVF patients or for routine checking of Estradiol levels.
At the personal level, she says that she really enjoys working here. Being a woman, she understands the joys of motherhood and has the satisfaction of helping another woman succeed in having children despite having faced disappointments before. And even when cases don’t turn out as expected, there is a close bond that develops between the patient and the staff. For more info - http://www.ivftucson.com/for-our-current-patients/
Dr. Hutchinson talks about Tubal Ligation in Tucson which is one of the more popular birth control measures. Patients that have had fertility before often opt for this procedure but regret it later when they want to have more children. Dr. Hutchinson in this video details the options that are open to couples in this case.
The first is the traditional method where the fallopian tubes are rejoined through microsurgical techniques to allow sperm to go through the fallopian tube obstruction to fertilize the egg. The second method is In Vitro Fertilization where the fallopian tubes are entirely bypassed. Most patients choose the latter because the earlier ligation need not be reversed and the couple can continue with the birth control measure after conceiving and birth of children through IVF.
Further the chances of conceiving are much higher in IVF. After fallopian tube reconstruction, the surface lining of tubes might not be adequate to provide nutrient material for sperm, egg and then embryos. The tube also needs to contract to bring the embryo back to the uterus.
However, in spite of these possible complications, couples often prefer the more natural course of conceiving through intercourse.
