  1. We wanted to show the beauty of Quebec in the fall season.

For sunrise we decided to explore by canoe a small lake in the Stoneham area. The water being warmer than the air, there was a thick fog floating above the lake. We paddled for an hour to reach the other side of the lake. The light was beautifully soft and we could see some ray of light piercing through the clouds. At one point there was no difference between the lake and the sky, I felt like I was paddling in heaven.

After spending the morning on the lake we decided to set up camp near a beautiful waterfall at Parc du Mont-Ste-Anne. We made a fire to warm up, set up camp, took a nap in our tent and decided to explore the bottom of the waterfall and the canyon nearby.

We finished the day at Cap tourmente and we walked along Fleuve St-Laurent, and waited for sunset.

  5. Headsox crew began their roadtrip on the south island of New Zealand with Franz Josef Glacier located in Westland Tai Poutini National Park on the West Coast.

Franz Josef Glacier is currently 12 km long and terminates 19 km from the Tasman Sea.

The glacier area is one of the main tourist attractions of the West Coast, with around 250,000 visitors a year.

At the entrance of the valley lies Franz Josef township, a small service village with a permanent population of approximately 330 residents.

The valley walk that takes about 1.5 hour roundtrip ends at a lookout about 50 m from the main terminal face of the glacier. Since around 2012 the terminal face has become too dangerous to approach, signs warn against crossing the safety barriers at the lookout.
