1. This video uses the split screen feature to allow the footage of the male and female models to blend with one another and to avoid assigning sexuality to either gender. The strobe setting that was done in post was used to show that both models (male or female) could appear in either of the outfits and it would be acceptable. That either of the outfits could be seen as gender fluid fashion.

  2. This video uses the split screen feature to allow the footage of the male and female models to blend with one another and to avoid assigning a sexuality to either gender. The viewer of the clip may question which bottom half belongs to who and may even find that the clothing on each model is acceptable for each gender. That is also indicated through the use of the word fluid. It is used to help demonstrate to the viewer that fluidity through clothing, gender and looks is something to keep in mind.

  3. This video uses colour and cropping to allow the viewer to question gender and gender related clothing. The footage of the male is layered with the colour pink (stereotypically female gender specific) and the footage of the female is layered with the colour blue (stereotypically male gender specific). They are layered in a split screen on top of one another to show that the clothing in the top or bottom footage could belong to either gender and the use of colour is to help show that.

  4. This video is made to represent the gender fluidity attached to these male and female figures. It is intended to make the viewer question who would be wearing what outfit and which pair of shoes as they are both gender neutral. In post I used the strobe feature as a tool to create a more fluid and questionable layering method. The viewer would be able to see them as potentially the same person or question gender based clothing and footwear even more. The flash of colour at the end represents the “gender specific” colour that is assigned to each of the models.

  5. This video is made to represent the gender fluidity attached to these male and female figures. It is intended to make the viewer question who would be wearing what outfit and which pair of shoes as they are both gender neutral. The original footage in the center is shown filtered with pink and blue (again colours that are gender specific). These are layered on top of footage of the two models next to one another, again shot from the waist down to allow the viewer to question their gender and accept the clothing for what it is.
