As part of Enterprise Week 2008, Furness Enterprise and FYP hosted an Apprentice event at Waterside House in Barrow.
Two teams, with participants drawn from Furness College and Barrow Sixth Form College, competed head-to-head in a challenge to develop a business idea. They had to undertake market research and then pitch their ideas to Sir Alan Sugar (David Lurie) and his team of advisors.
The Bleach House Gallery have selected a wide range of artists and designers, working within a fifty mile radius of Ulverston who are all passionate about the work they produce.
Laura Barnett shows Phil around the gallery, explaining the motivation behind the exhibition and providing an insight into some of the work which is being showcased.
