Every once in a while you need to get back to your roots and create something for your own personal pleasure. We decided to drop off the grid for two weeks and explore the West Coast in California, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. We didn't have any real plan in mind other then to immerse ourselves in the outdoors and capture whatever inspired us.
I spent 35 days exploring 11 different cities in Japan, China and Southeast Asia as a work assignment. I had chance to see new places, meet new people and experience new things I had never done before. This is my visual diary of the journey shot entirely on iPhone 5s.

“Icarus” is my non-narrative short drone film and really a homage to an awesome piece of technology, Phantom 3 Pro, that travels with me for the past 2 years to many many locations. From rocky cliffs of Isle of Skye to the mighty Dolomites in Italy. From unearthly Icelandic landscapes to lake belfry in Russia. Never in a million years have I though it would be possible to capture worlds beauty from this new and exiting prospects. New technology gives us this creative freedom and I am going to explore it furthermore.
