Anyway this one's about creating a controller to make the bolts flicker on and off over time, all procedural!
Next time I will be making a Lightning Solver to make the bolts animate over their lifetime, to create some even more interesting/realistic animation.

In this tutorial I cover creating some procedural bolts of lightning in Houdini - making them animate - and making them connect to a surface.
