1. SkyBox brings 360/VR production into After Effects. In these tutorials, David Oldani shows how to create a 360 video in After Effects using SkyBox with Trapcode Particular and Element 3D. He does this in two ways : he shows how to create a New SkyBox Master, and also how to create a SkyBox Master from an existing composition.

In the tutorials, the 360 environment is also used as a reflection map, so the Trapcode animation is reflected perfectly onto the E3D Sphere or a staute. The plugins look like they are seamlessy integrated and inhabit the same space in Ae.

David Oldani is a motion designer based in France, who is also the author of 70+ tutorials on fr.tuto.com/formateur/dafx.htm

  2. Jamie Pence (videobred.com) show how to remove a speed rail from 360 footage in After Effects, using SkyBox Studio V2. He shows a technique that is simple and quick to use, with the Mask Tool in Ae. The crew pulled the camera on the speed rail using string, which also had to be removed from the scene. The footage is from a Distillery in Louisville, from a project that Videobred is working on for the CIty of Louisville..
Videobred produces high quality 360 video productions. "Uniquely Fresh: Louisville's Culinary Scene" won a national award from Samsung: youtube.com/watch?v=ojzruVyaetQ
