GT RIDE is a mobile racing game where you build your own unique race track by moving your smartphone through the air.
The axis sensor inside your smartphone or tablet records the positioning data, which the app uses to calculate an individual 3D track. Having raced this track, you can send it as a challenge to your Facebook friends. It can be played on smartphones, tablets, the GT RIDE website and Facebook. GT RIDE was also featured as a kinect version at the 2013 Frankfurt and 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

We produced the cut-in sequences for the BMW online racing game “P.A.C.E“. The BMW worldwide online agency Interone was responsible for this ambitious project. Together with Artificial Duck Studios we created and produced the look of the game and developed the story of the race. The Pursuit across Europe (Lisbon - Paris - Berlin - Prague) takes place in a somehow surrealistic world like in a mixture of Edward Hopper and Film Noir. The special kind of aesthetic of black and white water colour paintings, montaged and mapped onto 3D elements homogenises the mixture of film sequences and game animations. P.A.C.E was a massive success spread all over the web.
The game and its artwork won several international awards:
Cannes Lions, Silver and Bronze
New York Festivals, Gold and Bronze
Eurobest, Silver and Bronze
Golden Awards of Montreux, Gold
reddot design award, Bronze
FWA Favorite Website Award
Mobius Advertising Award, 3x Gold

A popcorn inspired chain reaction, initiated by a ceramic glass cooktop. If this sounds a bit weird, It's all about a test scenario for rendering motion blur and depth of field effects.
Special Thanks to Helge Mathee for his support during this FX test. Rendered with Arnold and simulated with Exocortex Momentum 3.
