The Rock is Christ – Jesus and He speaks in agreement with the Trinity. The Holy Spirit, The Father and the Rock are one...the word is one...there is no conflict. We always need the Holy Spirit as an inner witness in alignment with the Father and the Rock. There can be no conflict with the word of God, the utterances by the Spirit of God and the will of the Father.
Other rocks cannot speak...they are only stones...dead stones in all shapes and colours...but dead stones ...
There is a difference between our Rock and their rock...everyone has a rock they lean on ... the world, the devil and the flesh constitute a rock. Similarly we have the Holy Spirit, Jesus and our Father in Heaven – the Rock of ages. Verse 31 goes to the heart of the issue...the rocks are not the same. Their rock is not as our Rock. I appeal to you when people call god...or the gods...or talk about god...the first thing is to establish which god
Stand means to remain firm in the same place. Firm means to be secure or socially fixed in place having a solid or compact structure that resist stress or pressure not easily moved or disturbed. Steadfast. Well founded
Move forward in the Lord...the flood gates of heaven have opened for you. Enjoy a new beginning.
