This ~19 mile route starting in the town of Crested Butte, CO includes a 3,000 ft climb, spectacular scenery, and blasts of fun along a downhill run back into town.
This version is ~10 miles long and done as a clockwise loop from a parking area on Brush Creek Rd.
You probably won't see another mountain biker on this ride because the climb is steep and the descent is gnar, gnar. But, oh is it worth it.

The Dyke trail is located west of Crested Butte, Colorado near lake Irwin. It's named after the Dyke formation, which will be hard to miss.
This route includes new-ish extensions of the wagon trail. Route finding can be moderately difficult, so GPS navigation is recommended.
This route begins at the Judd Falls parking area.
