This is the result of my Creative Direction class, in which my classmates and I were tasked with rebranding the popular Discovery Channel show Mythbusters. I contributed modeling, animation, and motion graphics. The piece was originally created in 480p, however I remastered the piece in 720p for your viewing pleasure.
This music video for the song Winter Knight by Erato, a Korean pop artist, was created in my music video class. The title is loosely translated from Korean and the meaning is still fuzzy, but the song itself was explained in detail:
It is based on the idea of an individual suffering from alienation. The artist then finds escape and belonging through music, which leads him from a depressing black and white world to a stunning universe full of color.
Animation & motion graphics by Michael Findlay, Ken Louie-Nishikawa, and Marisa Robb, who also shot the video along with Scott Hess and Linda Kenney.
Tools used include Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Cinema 4D.
This animated fly-through of a 1970s era basement was my final project for a 3D modeling class in school. The entire animation is designed to act as an intro to a DVD menu, while showing off the modeling of the basement along the way.
This was created by me using Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Cinema 4D.
