    Eldon Cole is a University of Missouri livestock specialist for southwest Missouri headquartered at Mt. Vernon. He was raised on a livestock farm at Potosi, Mo., and graduated from the University of Missouri College of Agriculture in 1962 and received a Masters in Animal Husbandry in 1963. Mr. Cole began his Extension career in 1964 in Marshall and in 1968 transferred to Mt. Vernon as livestock specialist. His programs include beef and forage production and utilization, Missouri Steer Feedout, Show-Me-Select Beef Heifer Replacement Program, bull breeding soundness clinics, and grazing schools to name a few.

Speaker Biographies
Brad Matlock was raised on a cow/calf and broiler farm near Omaha, Ark. Currently, he is Vice President/Branch Manager of the Farm Credit of Western Arkansas’ Harrison office. His duties include making and managing agricultural loans and overseeing daily transactions, public relations and marketing. Brad has been with Farm Credit for 13 years.

Dr. Brett Barham is an Associate Professor in Animal Science with an emphasis in breeding and genetics. Dr. Shane Gadberry is an Associate Professor in Animal Science with an emphasis in ruminant nutrition. Dr. John Jennings is a Professor in Animal Science with an emphasis in forage and grazing management. Dr. Tom Troxel is a Professor and Associate Department Head – Animal Science. All four are members of the 300-Day Grazing Team and are with the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.

Travis Justice serves the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation as Associate Director of the Commodity and Public Policy Department. He has been on the Farm Bureau staff for 36 years in the Commodity and Regulatory Affairs Department. He currently coordinates activities of the organization’s Beef Cattle and Equine Divisions. Justice also served as the organization’s Senior Economist for the past 14 years with responsibilities for economic and policy analysis on issues impacting agriculture and is the
administrator for the Arkansas Beef Council.
