The Islander RV Resort is the best place to call home when you’re in Lake Havasu City. There may be other resorts with a lower price but this is by far the best location! It’s right on the lake in its own cove which keeps it nice and peaceful.

If you’re in the 20-40 year old range, let’s be honest, you’ll likely see few people your own age to hang with at the resort during the dead of winter. That said, everyone we met in the Islander RV resort was young at heart. (And in the warmer weather months, the resort primarily caters to families and boaters.) Friendly people invited us to sip wine, join in on a wood carving class, and go fishing! The guests of this resort work together to create a community rather than just a vacation spot. They put together a long list of activities and events; making friends isn’t hard and there is never a dull moment. If you want an RV resort with tons of activity, you can’t go wrong with the Islander RV Resort in Lake Havasu City.

My wife and I recently decided to downgrade from our 4 bedroom home to a 5th wheel RV. We decided to substitute our things for simplicity, the status quo lifestyle for one filled with adventure, routine living for the ability to travel and explore. This isn't for everyone, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. We won't live like this forever, but for the time being it is such a blast. Of course, if we were going to be living in it, we had to put our own "touch" on it. This video shows our renovation process and the work we put into it to make it our own. Enjoy!
