"Surf" is a music video featuring spoken word artist Christian Foley and dancers from the Street Factory hip hop studio in Plymouth. The film encourages consideration of both the consent we give and the consent we ask from others in a connected world.
This is a play-through of our virtual reality app, Digital Detectives, that allows 7-11 years to explore a virtual house while learning about consent online and the ways in which their information might be shared online. This film is to be used alongside the Education pack for 7-11 year olds.

We visited Uffculme school to ask a group of pupils about giving and receiving consent online in a series of situations from their daily lives. Conversations centered around some of the more complex scenarios that young people might face online. The thought provoking topics encouraged in-depth discussions about consent in a connected world.

We put young people and their parents head-to-head in a game show and asked them questions about consent online. We wanted to find out if parents and their children have the same or differing opinions on a range of online consent topics.
