1. A comprehensive overview of the features and controls of the MakeNoise Phonogene and a few example patches built from one quick initial piano sample.

    More installments to come.

  2. A variation from the Regenerative Record patch from the Phonogene manual. Infinite variations of regenerative slices and cutting on a live looping signal can be heard. The entire patch is running into the summed inputs of a Intellijel Mutagen. I then ran the main output of the Mutagen into the Phonogen, using it more like a stuttering edit plug-in on the master mix. The entire patch is completely modular using no other computers or external processing.

  4. Signal path is Discman --> A-119 --> Echophon
    A-119 Gate out --> Echophon Freeze in

    Echo time and feedback, as well as pitch shifting frequency and depth, are played by hand.

  5. A 5-module patch (Cyclebox, ES-3, Maths, A-132-3 and Echophon), using an Apple Magic Trackpad to control portions of each module.

    The trackpad is routed through the "Fingerpinger" object in Max, outputting X and Y coordinate, as well as angle, data through the ES-3 as voltage.

    The Echophon parameters being modulated are (a) Depth, (b) Pitch, (c) Feedback and (d) Echo time.
