Video of the last business trip to San Diego, CA. with colleagues, and visit to the USS Midway Museum.
Footage w/ the new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX9V in 1080HD, 30fps and MP4 format @ 12Mbps.
For a change, I did test the Windows Live Movie Maker (Free download) for editing the footage, with custom settings in fps and Mbps to match footage as described above, and 440kbps audio @ 48kHz. Total File size: 441MB.
Do notice WLMM software does NOT stabilize footage, so all you see here is the camera's own OSS in active mode.
Brief moments with Lili, Emma & Nico during breakfast at Santiago de Chile, chatting about the smart guy @ the building's reception and how Emma looks so much as aunt Monki when she was a baby...!
Pictures and HD video shot with a Sony Alpha NEX-3 camera and the Sony E-mount 18-55mm zoom lens.
Video shot in MP4 format @ 720 fps, then edited in iMovie '11. Soundtrack by Hazell Dean: "They say it's gonna rain" (extended version)

BEWARE: HUGE File Size and video in Full HD 1080p
Don't try to download over a slow broadband conection or playback in a slow/old PC...!!!
New version of the Trip to Asia 2009 slide show, now made entirely in iMovie '11.
Sadly the Slide Show feature from the new iPhoto '11 doesn't offer a default 1080p export option, so one ends-up w/ a file too big and not enough resolution.
Another disadvantage is the new Origami theme isn't available in iMovie '11.
This version is actually longer than the previous one, but isn't a much larger file. Actual rendering in iPhoto also seemed slower than in iMovie, but this is just a guesstimation...

Slide show from our trip to Beijing, Kyoto and Tokyo in the Fall of 2009.
We had an awesome time and were lucky enough to see amazing marvels both in China and Japan.
During our last breakfast at the hotel in Beijing (the photo of the mirror-finished building) Michael Phelps just sat beside us to have his meal (!!)
Another incredible moment was at the top of the Great Wall in Mutianyu; so serene and spiritual, an incredible sight with only the sound of the cold wind blowing...
The Kinkakuji Temple (the golden pavilion) in Kyoto was also amazing. Quite the scenery to never forget, so much perfection and care!
We'll certainly never forget this incredible experience.
Most pictures shot with a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1 and a DSC-W120 digital cameras.
