After a year of shooting movies with the GH1, I did a short compilation of my favourite shots. Some of the clips have already made it to other videos, some I've used for the first time in this compilation.
The GH1 is truly a wonderful camera. I love its small size and swivel LCD, and I love the fact that it can accomodate just about any lenses out there. Do I wish for a bigger sensor? Of course. A more robust codec? Sure.
Looking forward to what Panasonic does with the GH2. Global shutter? Better Codec? High-speed shooting? I can't wait.

Philip Bloom's weekend challenge
December 11th 2010, Amsterdam
My first "real" Time lapse piece over looking the city. Pittsburgh PA is known for having one of the best skylines, and it is a stunning sight to behold. I shot with the GH1 (gh13) and used a Canon fd 50mm 1.4 lens as well as The Kit lens. I was surprised as too how well the stills came out when using the Kit lens. Of course I used a Intervalometer and I think the results speak for themselves. This was just my second attempt at a timelapse, so I am learning as I go.
Shot, edited and scored by myself Phillip Thompson (BIG Phill)
