More time lapse work I've been up to. Some are HDR although I have backed off that a bit. Song is called "122bps" I composed it in the late 90's. The laugh is Side Show Bob from the Simpsons. (Kelsey Grammer) I used the camtrac dolly for some of the moves in this video seen here at thecamtrac.com/Camtrac/
A compilation of time lapse clips I've done this past year. Most of it was using a 5D and 5D Mark2. Lenses used were 16-35mm, 24mm 1.4, 50mm 1.8 and even a 70-200mm on occasion. Music is from Mannheim Steamroller's Fresh Aire V.
Some clips were made on a track dolly others on a slow panning telescope mount from Meade. Zooming effects were done digitally using After Effects. At the end I tacked on a hyper-lapse.
I also employed some HDR techniques. Quality is poor here due to the length but watchable.
Some favorite clips re-worked as well as some new ones. Star trails were static sequences blended in After Effects. At 2:08 watch for a funnel cloud forming just before the rain shut me down while doing a railroad track time lapse. Desert sculptures created by Ricardo Breceda are at Galleta Meadows Estates on land owned by Dennis Avery in Borrego Springs. And of course some railroad tracks with the dolly I built. Music by Kevin MacLeod and the Chemical Brothers. i used the Camtrac dolly for some of these moves.
