1. Filmed with a Meade electronic eyepiece through an 8" LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Using progressively less focal reduction, the magnification was increased twice, then the cycle was repeated on a new area of the moon.

  3. This is a couple of timelapses done with my Canon 40D. The first is 45 sec long exposures at f/9 and 55mm shot over the course of 2.5 hours. You can see Cassiopeia rotate around, as well as Polaris in the upper right. The second is of the moon through clouds and trees on a windy night. Consisting of 15 second long exposures set at f/9 and 50mm, this was shot over the course of a little more than an hour. Still shots were all taken with my Canon 40D, except for one lone Powershot S1 IS shot. None had any tracking other than Orion, which is a stack of over 2.5 hours worth of information.

  4. Comet C/2007 N3 Lulin is a non-periodic comet; it passed only 0.411AU from Earth on 2/24/2009. This is an animation of the comet movement against the background stars over 2 hour period on the evening of 3/4/2009. The component images were obtained with Canon 40D (Hutech modified) , Celestron CGE1400 telescope with f1.9 Hyperstar guided with Meade DSI and PHD through Celestron C80ED telescope. Total of 30 frames 240 sec each (ISO800).

  5. This is video shot with my ETX-125 and a Phillips SPC900NC webcam. As you can see, the wind where I live is ridiculous which makes things difficult!
