Théâtre Jardin Passion in Namur (Belgium) - September 30th 2009
I discovered Vandaveer in February this year and missed him in Gand and Bruges. His “Take Away Concerts” from “La Blogothèque” are certainly one reason why I created this site. I wasn’t supposed to be in Namur on September 30th and therefore didn’t carry my good camera with me. When I asked him if he would agree to be filmed with a pocket he immediately accepted, went for his guitar and when he came back he noticed that nice piano in a corner and felt like using it. Rose came to sit near him. At the bar no one noticed that he was singing in the back, which has earned us some background noise. The concert he gave that night was the kind of precious moment that we hopefully live once per year ... In that warm and pleasant venue, I had a feeling of assisting to Bob Dylan's scene birth!
