'Entree To Asia' is a travel-based cooking TV series I produced a number of years ago. It still amazes me how, in Asian food culture, so little changes. What was true -- and tasty -- hundreds of years ago, remains so today. Food in Southeast Asia remains a staple of the travel experience, and so the two are not only interconnected, they each thrive on their diversity of ingredients. Wanderism.com -- an entertaining travel-based website I run with a fellow writer and photographer -- is like that. This little video is just a 'taste' of what awaits the hungry traveler in Southeast Asia.
This fabulous hotel on the island of Moloka'i recently closed, to the chagrin of many, I would guess, but it was especially sad for me. I visited here twice, and the second time shot extensive video of the entire island for a travel television series I created. As an homage to what once was, I offer this three minute collage of video clips. Perhaps the owners will sort out their issues and The Lodge at Molokai Ranch will once again open its doors.
