The rain stopped and I went out to my wife's garden to take some images of her flowers.
Then I went back to get my camera. The rain started up again. So, out comes an umbrella and holding it in one hand and trying to get my shots with another. The wind gusts were not very helpful as it was blowing rain all over the place.
I went back in the house and got my other heavy duty tipod and clamped the umbrella on that one. It worked for a while but in the end, I got the camera soaked. So much for taping in the rain..
The technique of the edit was to go through fast scene changes and then slow down at the last two or three clips. Looking at the results, I should have made the changes faster and uniform, then only one long scene for closing.
I may re-cut this movie.
The sound you hear is the rain falling on the umbrella.
It's not bad if you turn the sound down as a bit of background noise.
This is a montage I did of various raindrops during and after a rain storm. It only took two days to put this together. One day I filmed and the next day I edited. I did some color correction in post. Mainly contrast. Watch in fullscreen to see the detail!!
