at the University of Nigeria , Nsukka community. Upon the completion of his secondary studies, he moved to
America to continue his education. He was a full-time student at Houston Community College but managed to
combine his studies with his job at Getronics while pursuing his interests in real estate and participating
actively in the emerging African movie and entertainment activities in Houston .
Izu is survived by his parents, a brother, sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles. Efforts are being made to

  3. Early morning on Sept. 13th
    Houston and a category fits.
    Hurricane Ike Hits,
    3 Million Lights unlit,
    Looting and Chaos Discreet,
    Curfew enforced on the street.

No light, no water, no meat, no milk.
No power enforced for 2 to 4 weeks.

    No need to dress up,
    Stay up in your silk.
    No need to fuss,
    Ain’t no working this week.

    My neighbor’s name is what?
Nice to see we could finally meet?
    My kids wanna eat what?
You better suck it up and go sit.

The gas is near 6 dollars,
Damn trees destroyed my Eddie Bouer,
Man can’t even take a hot shower,
Let me see what else Ike done devoured.

    There’s a time appointed
    For each man to live,
    After that comes death.

    FEMA won’t save you then.
    Bush, Obama, or McCain.

    Is it the lack of,
    During the blackout,
    All that Ike stopped,
    That defines you?

    Hopefully you’d know
    There’s a greater power
    Behind all that makes you

    Technology would fail,
    Your livelihood would frail,
    But my God prevails,
    To avail another praise.
