  3. In this simple test I shot the same scene from almost the exact same distance (give or take an inch) with six different lenses. I wanted to compare the detail difference of each of the lenses. Surprisingly, the sharpness difference between each of the lenses were very small, as was the color balance difference.

    Lenses Compared:

    Canon 70-200mm F/2.8 IS (Version I)
    Canon 24-150mm F/4.0 IS
    Canon 50mm F/1.8 (Version I)
    Rokinon 14mm F/2.8
    Rokinon 85mm F/1.8
    Sigma 20mm F/1.8

    Camera Used for Test:

Canon EOS 5D Mark III. Auto WB, 1080/p at 23.97fps, ALL-I setting.

Ron Risman shows you how to capture aerial photos & videos from 10', 15', or even 20' off the ground without breaking the bank. Pole Aerial Photography (PAP) and Videography uses inexpensive and extendable poles, a self-timer or remote shutter release, a tripod head, and camera to capture impromptu aerial photography for indie films, real-estate, insurance, home-inspections, and events.

  5. Anytime I purchase a lens that will accept a filter I immediately purchase a protective UV filter for the front glass as a low-cost investment. The filters I have been using have been HOYA filters, which seemed to be a decent filter at a decent price. Recently, I noticed a small white nick in one of my filters so I headed over to Amazon.com to find a replacement.
