  2. This is another image from the photo shoot I did as part of a webinar for Sekonic light meters, where I show a landscape photo session at the Scituate Lighthouse in Massachusetts. This step-by-step tutorial is a fairly detailed overview of my 10 Channel Workflow, starting in Lightroom, and ending in Photoshop, and includes a B&W conversion, as well as a color enhancement, and sky replacement. The whole webinar contains the shooting session documented in an on-location video, showing several scenes from the same location. You can see the whole webinar on Sekonic's website here:

  4. This is a more complete version of a retouch I did for my X-rite webinar on retouching. The basic approach is Frequency Separation to place texture and color/tone in separate layers. This allows you to re-shade the image while leaving the texture intact. I have to thank Doug Pizac for this wonderful portrait!

  5. This project re-creates a traditional 1960's poster effect. Then, a unique psychedelic effect is added. Along the way, you will learn how to use the Threshold adjustment layer, layers & layer masks, Advanced Blending Options, Smart Objects, Gaussian Blur & Find Edges filters, Gradient Maps, and the Difference layer blend mode.
