In 2009, Chef Brandl launched Jakes Crab Shack located at 500 Ocean Avenue in Belmar. The "Shack" offers crab cake sandwiches, kobe beef burgers, lobster rolls, fresh cut fries, to name a few. The "Shack" also offers breakfast on the weekends. Pancakes, egg sandwiches, fresh orange juice, and not to mention the view.
