The Etiwanda train station is a historical landmark in Rancho Cucamonga and its story is told by Bob Curtis, Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, wearing a replica of a train conductor’s uniform. The station was constructed in the early 1900s and is one of a few remaining train stations still standing in Southern California. The famous “red cars” of the Pacific Electric Railway ran from the Pacific Coast, through Los Angeles and as far east as San Bernardino.
