An attempt at some simple animation in After Effects. Obviously that did not work out. There is a lot more that I would have liked to do with this if I had enough time and I was not constrained by the 5 second time limit. Specifically the audio, as much as I love that song it is not a perfect fit and I would have liked to add in some individual sound effects. I guess it is for the best. A video can only hold so much awesome at one time.
The song in this video is a rather heavy handed piece of Another Sunday Morning by I Come to Shanghai.
The song, as well as their album, can be found here: http://www.icometoshanghai.com/home.html
I would also like to thank DragonArtz Designs (awesome name guys) whose vector pack served as a base for most of the vehicles (http://www.dragonartz.net/2009/02/08/toy-cars-n-bus-vector/).
(I was just kidding about the name thing, Dragons are awesome. I would much rather be named DragonArtz than Henry. I mean it has a 'z' in it. All I have is a 'y'. A stupid, stupid 'y'.)
A short introduction for head chef Arturo Boada and his restaurant, Arturo's in Uptown Park in Houston, TX. This is the beginning of several short films in a series to help promote his restaurant. If you're in the Houston area and enjoy great Italian food, this restaurant is a must!
Shot with Canon 7D and Nikon D300s. Behind the scenes, with details on the gear we used and how we shot the commercial, coming soon...
