In life it's easy to find yourself in a place where you put your preferences above God’s purpose. We’re much more comfortable when life is safe and easy. But God never called us to comfort. What would the Church look like if we all got to a place where we are so satisfied with being uncomfortable chasing God’s plan that it becomes comfortable.

When it comes to making a financial commitment to God, we often measure it in dollars. We ask ourselves, “How much did I give?” But God looks at it differently. It’s not about the amount you give, but the capacity in which you give it. God doesn’t look at the amount of your check or cash; He looks at your heart.
We all want to do something amazing for God. We want to see God move in our church and homes, but we often forget that God’s call on our lives comes with a cost. It calls us to get our hands dirty and love the broken. Jesus walked toward the mess, and so should we.
