Recent rulings by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) have provided direction for the tax treatment of same-sex married couples. On September 5, 2013, the Minnesota Department of Revenue hosted a conference call to provide additional guidance on the impact of the rulings.
