This greenhouse is truly green. Cutting edge building techniques, lighting, windows, and ventilation make this the greenhouse of the future. It is a research unit with many monitoring devices built into it. This is a collaborative effort between the Colorado Department of Agriculture, Synergistic Building Technologies (http://www.synergisticbuildingtechnologies.com/), and Cure Organic Farms in Boulder. They are still learning what works best and what can be improved.
This is the third building in the BOSS (Building On-Site Seminar) series. Each seminar includes a tour of the facility by the builders and installers, a gourmet dinner, an in depth analysis by a panel of building science professionals, opportunities to ask questions, and networking.
