  3. "Reactor Burner Brain" uses a mixture of processed live-action footage shot on the Canon5d MarkII using the Canon 100mm Macro, stockfootage, as well as a lot of cg imagery rendered inside After FX thanks to Video Copilots awesome Element 3D plugin.

This owes a lot of inspiration to the numerous great title-sequences of David Fincher movies.
Check out the 1080p download, the compression sadly kills a lot of detail.

  4. "Things worth asking"
by GHOST OF A CHANCE from the Album: AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP

After doing a few music videos lately, i´ve been looking for new ways to challenge myself. While in the past I could always count on the help of a few buddies for shooting and took my sweet time with postproduction, I´ve decided to break this habit and shoot a video all by myself and try to have it edited, color-graded and released all within 24 hours. So I did.

Thanks to Tobias Heiland of GHOST OF A CHANCE, a great guy and fabolous artist. Check out his current album "AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP" here:

A fitting title looking back at the last 24 hours. Good night all.

  5. "Jelly, Jelly, How To Survive Such A Trip?"
    by THE SATELLITE YEAR

A soundtrack video for a movie that does not exist. Borrowing from well established action- and spy movie clichés, this is my humble homage to +100 Mio.$ Hollywood action films, but done on a tiny budget as a side project.

For fun, I also did a pretend movie trailer for it:

    Producer/Director/DoP/Edit/CGI/VFX/Colorgrading: Thorsten Hary (thorsten-hary.de)

Additional camerawork and invaluable help from Markus Bürster, Markus Braun and Alexander Lehnert. GUI-Design by Zane Bien

Huge props to the guys at FXPHD & Videocopilot
