Lately my inspiration for new articles on DHCountry.com is running dry, so I'm sending a=out an open invite to all my viewers to send me your suggestions! All I ask is that you send me artists who are not already signed to a large label. Either email me at firstname.lastname@example.org OR sign up at http://family.dhcountrymusic.com and upload your favorite videos and MP3's so our members can vote and comment on them.
I went down to the Sprint store yesterday and raised a stink about my existing Katana II phone and next thing you know I'm walking out of the store with a Blackberry Pearl. 'm starting to think this is just too much phone for a girl like me, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, I've decided to join in on the VloMo fun and spend the month of November trying to publish as much video as I can, so I apologize in advance for all the useless drabble.
In this edition of "What's new with WC" I announce the mountainous project of combining the power of all my individual music sites into one fan community at http://family.dhcountrymusic.com The idea behind a user-supported country music community is that I believe you shouldn't HAVE to be famous before you can be heard!
Also, car lovers stay tuned for some exciting sneak peeks at what will certainly be the most fuel-driven resource the internet has ever seen!
I had a great time at PodCampAZ 08 and want to send a special thank you to all those that worked so hard to create, support, and sponsor the event. It was a tremendous success in my eyes as it renewed my entrepreneurial spirit and reinforced my creative direction. It was great to meet internet celebs like iJustine and Chris Pirillo, and equally great to pick the minds of local inspirational creatives like Brent Spore, Brian Shaler, Pam Slim and Clintus McGintus. It was great to find out what an intelligent and innovative community we have right here in Arizona!
If you weren't there, please visit http://www.podcampaz.org to find out where you can see recordings of the sessions!
