In post production I noticed a boring overuse of out of focus scenes. In next footages I'll use small apertures to increase entire focus scene.
And talking about focus it's really the most challenging issue in DSLR video. If you don't have a follow focus and an external LCD monitor, you have improvise. Do some notations and marks in order to know where to stop your focus ring during the scene.
But the really fun of it is, by your own experience, feel the needs of all DSLR gear available. Maybe a viewfinder, a follow focus, a glidecam and so on...
I've already bought the cheapest LCD Viwfinder that I found on eBay but didn't arrive yet.
