In the first Talk In Motion: Photography Video Show Ron Risman travels to New York City to attend PhotoPlus Expo 2008, one of the largest annual photography trade shows in the U.S.
Ron discusses some of the recent product announcements that he get a chance to put his hands on at the show - Nikon's new D90 DSLR and Canon's EOS 5D Mark II - two new digital SLR's with HD Video capture. Panasonic's and Olympus' new Micro-Four Thirds System which promises point & shoot sized camera's with interchangeable lenses and the new Shape Shifter backpack from Think Tank Photo.
In this Podcast Ron Risman discusses some of the new creative products he discovered at PhotoPlus Expo that should help us want to print some of our images - and start sharing them. The most exciting of these is the Gallery Wrap System from Hahnemule that allows consumers, hobbyists, and professionals to create professional quality canvas wraps in under 5 minutes and with prices starting around $30.
This Talk in Motion podcast was entirely shot with the Samsung TL34 HD digital camera, the same camera we're reviewing here. The camera shoots 14.7-megapixel stills and 720p video. Editing was done using Pinnacle Studio Plus Version 12 enhanced. The editing software was used to trim the length, add PIP overlays, and titles. The audio and video are as was recorded with the camera.
