History, art, environmentalism and the creative process are the themes of this 90-minute biography about the great American nature photographer, Ansel Adams. This narrative is built around a core group of interview subjects, all of whom illuminate Adams’s photographic legacy. The visual images center on Adams’s photographs beautifully integrated with video footage of the same landscapes. The program is lovingly crafted, beautifully paced, and the original musical score is simply gorgeous.
