In this 90-minute independently produced documentary, a perfect Mormon family, the Smiths, becomes reconciled to living with and dying from AIDS. Told primarily from the viewpoint of wife and mother, Kim Smith, this is a wrenching character study of a woman who embraces religion, betrayal, sickness, family and ultimately the death of her bisexual husband. It is utterly straightforward in style and amazingly original in its impact.

Tasha Oldham, producer; Cara Mertes, executive producer.
