Annina Nosei is one of the most influential living art dealers, known for her ability to recognize emerging artistic talents. In the world of art she is universally known for having discovered Jean-Michel Basquiat, but there are many other famous artists who have taken their first steps towards reco¬gnition with her. The list includes Julian Schnabel, Jeff Koons, Keith Haring, and many others. What is art today and how we have to look at it? Why art is so important and how it affects our daily life? These are some of the questions that will be tackled in the film with some of the most significant and influential living artists, all of them introduced in the art-world by the Nosei Gallery. Barbara Kruger, Vincent Gallo, Shirin Neshat, Ghada Amer and Carolee Schneeman are the artists that have already agreed in being part of our journey. Works of art will be central in the confrontation between artist and Annina, investigating them in detail. We’ll see in action the look of the Annina and we’ll compare it with the one of the artist. Through their words we’ll understand how they look at works of art; an exchange of perspective from which us, the audience, thanks to them, we will learn how to look.
